This c. 1910 vase sits about 5” high and has a width of approx 7 1/2”. I just love this piece! The artist rendering of Snow Berries is exquisite, and the hand painted detail is stunning. Each berry has an embossed layer of an enameled white specs. The handle and top are gold gilt and have some slight wear and fading.
Vase is otherwise in excellent condition – no chips, cracks, or repairs. Bottom is marked J.P.L. France, and the piece dates to about 1910. Artists would often acquire these blank pieces from companies and then paint them, truly making this piece one of a kind.
