This is an exceptional rare and exciting find! Here we have a rare limoges handled pudding bowl, elegantly decorated by Ravenwood Studios of Corning NY (c. 1900-1914). The French T&V Mark on the bottom is overpainted with gold paint, which was customary of Ravenwood. T&V underglaze mark is c. 1892-1907.
The lilac decoration is TOP quality, and just stunning, as it is finds its way to the interior of the bowl. There is some slight fading to the gold gilt handle, but the bowl is otherwise is excellent shape. NO chips, cracks, or repairs.
Ravenwood pieces are of exceptional quality and hard to come by, and thus come with a price premium. Our price is WAY lower than the appraised value of such a beauty.
